LANCIA DELTA WRC INTEGRALE – PBR STUDY
The model of Lancia integrale is one of the most succesfull cars in world racing championship. The car was introduced for the 1987 World Rally Championship season and dominated the World Rally Championship, scoring 46 WRC victories overall and winning the constructors’ championship a record six times in a row from 1987 to 1992, in addition to drivers’ championship titles for Juha Kankkunen (1987 and 1991) and Miki Biasion (1988 and 1989), making Lancia the most successful marque in the history of the WRC and the Delta the most successful car.
This seemed like nice oportunity for me to practice pbr texturing. I purposly decided to make a dirty version of the car because I think it shows the pure energy and passion of the WRC.
I made 5 differnet uv-layouts for 5 difernet materials on this. Worked in photoshop for accurate replication those stamp ads and branding logos and produced ground textures in Megascans Studio.
- 3D Coat for texturing and uv-unwrap
- 3ds Max for modeling tweaks
- Photoshop for texture design
- Megascans Studio for ground material design
- Realtime pbr rendering 3D coat and Sketchfab.com
